Credence- From a musical perspective you can draw a thick line with a Sharpie from Chuck Berry to CCR. Straight ahead, no nonsense, no guitar-effect rock and roll. The vocal is pure and unwavering Fogerty. The lyric involving aliens, the government and the tensions with regular folks could have been written today (though likely with more acidity).

Alan is spot on with the Berry reference – down to the piano accents.
Age-old question: Is it the Lord or a communist plot?

That iconic sounding guitar and vocals. I would place this one in the classic category for sure despite it being embedded in an album full of super-duper classics.
